It Still Snows in Canada

Tags: Travel, Humorous

Some Australian Travel Agents don’t think that it can snow in Toronto because it is down “too low”. Well, this wasn’t quite taken in Toronto, but we’re actually a bit little lower. All the best from my Igloo up in Canada!

Update - Jan 25: Australia issues Canadian travel warning. As if being ‘too low for snow’ wasn’t enough to detour people from visiting Canada. Travel agents can now rely on the new warning to shy you away from Canada and into more exotic expensive vacations. Maybe terrorism, rabies, earthquakes, ice storms, the 401, bad drivers, bad truckers, auto theft, tornadoes and lack of gun control will do the trick?

Don’t believe the hype, Canada is a great place to visit!

Puzzle Cat - Lessons in Patience

Sharing our Light (1500 Pieces)

The Art of James Christensen

Finishing a puzzle in a small apartment with an over-active kitten is no easy task. I am proud to announce that Nadine and I managed to piece this together after 3 weeks of casual puzzling and only a few Chatty related re-constructions.

Chatty likes to play, we like to play, sometimes people and cat play don’t work well together. We devised a number of strategies to protect our work from her late-night mischief. The best seemed to be placing a rug over the puzzle with a folding chair on top, out of sight out of mind.

Two Days Later: Chatty sends the puzzle off in style to your right.

Life After Bond - The Short of Things

Tags: Domestic

It has been some time since I finished with Bond.  Many adventures have come to pass both trying and exciting, a trip to New York, buying two cars in the span of a week, off-roading head gashes, a Halloween party in a town called Dorking, Nadine’s adventures with Hair Dye, and oh so much more.

All of this has lead to my new job working with IGLOO software and a new apartment in Kitchener, Ontario.  I’ll start posting about Kitchener soon, but let’s just say that it’s a city with a lot of ~character.  We love the adventure and are making the best of it.

Some of you close to Nadine and I may know that a kitten has been in the cards for a while now.  I am pleased to report that Chattel (a.k.a Chatty) has been living with us for the past few months now and has been quite an enjoyable time.  BTW, for those who don’t get the reference, in the legal world a chattel is a movable good, it’s a lawyer joke!  That being said, she has been living up to her many names, both moving and ‘chatting’ excessively. *Meow*

Some people have been asking me what I’m doing about getting admitted in Canada.  As of yet I still need to finalize my transcripts with the NCA and get my list of equivalency tests.  After that I’ll probably sit the challenge exams, maybe a couple in September.

Oh yeah, Happy New Year!

I’ll be seeing you more soon.
