Enjoyment:

Piano

My parents discovered my talents at an early age, somehow discerning music from my random key bashing on the organ. I was given lessons as a gift early on and pursued them intently. Over my musical career I’ve achieved many recognitions from the Royal Conservatory of Music and hope to pass the ARCT(Teacher’s) exam someday.

Me playing pianoIn the meantime, I’ve been slowly exploring Jazz theory on my lonesome. It’s been rewarding and very frustrating at times. A lot of credit should be given to a talented Jazz musician.

For fun and practice I primarily play the works of Chopin. His Waltzes, Nocturnes, Preludes and Etudes are particular favourites. However, his magnificent Fantasie Impromtu ranks highly. Beethoven, and Liszt are not far behind in terms of playtime.

JugglingFire Juggling

Taught by my eldest brother initially, I honed my skills throughout High School teaching many others along the way. Since the three ball cascade, I’ve moved onto four and five balls, clubs, and even flaming torches. It’s an excellent exercise for your mind, and is great with children or to entertain at parties.
